  • 2022
  • Permasteelisa Group is an international player specialised in curtain walls, engineering and highly complex architectural systems. In 2022, the group was at a decisive stage: after a series of mergers and integrations, three brands coexisted within the organisation, each with a different identity, positioning and global recognition. The goal was a matter of culture: how could the group begin to speak with one voice?

    FRAMING THE CHALLENGE.
Kantar Italia, responsible for the group’s overall repositioning, asked REMIDA to build the narrative foundation for change, starting with extensive listening and leading to the writing of the new group manifesto. The challenge was twofold: to understand internal complexity and translate it into a shared vision capable of guiding the organisation through the first phase of consolidation.

    SETTING THE DIRECTION.
Achieving a meaningful synthesis required engaging the entire organisation. A qualitative audit made it possible to gather signals, perceptions and expectations across the different areas. This was followed by over 20 one-to-one interviews with the leadership of the three companies, to capture key turning points in the process.

    DOING THE WORK.
A full-day, in-person workshop involved around 60 people, including managers and functional leaders from the different businesses and geographic areas. This helped to surface a shared view that would support the writing of a group manifesto, conceived as the foundation of a common identity: clear, resonating, actionable.

    Organisational Audit & Leadership Interviews

Audit of the population through questionnaire analysis and over 20 in-depth interviews with the management of the three companies, capturing internal perceptions and priorities.

    On-site Workshop

In-person workshop with around 60 participants across different countries, designed to surface a shared synthesis and build a common basis for further discussion.

    Group Manifesto

Writing of the group manifesto, natively in English, conceived as a founding act of identity and as a formal expression of a shared culture to be recognised and consolidated.

    IMPACT.
At a stage when the group was still absorbing the effects of its internal reorganisation, the project helped build a more solid cultural foundation to provide a clearer shared direction, enabling the group to return to profitability after a challenging two-year period.
